Welcome to Ilima Intermediate School. Since its founding, Ilima has been dedicated to providing the very best educational services to its students.  Throughout our history, Ilima has been a place where students are intellectually ambitious, engaged, and curious about the world in which they live. Our students are compassionate, creative, and filled with desire to meet new challenges and pursue creative paths to become college, career and life ready.

 

We are all very excited about this school year, where classrooms once again will be full with activities and ideas that challenge and inspire our students. Our amazing teachers and staff work hard to create an exceptional learning environment for our students. Our major focus on improvement begins in the classrooms of our students and culminates with our 8th grade graduation when our oldest students take on the transition to James Campbell High School.

 

Throughout the year, exciting things are happening in our classrooms and on our campus! We encourage you to get involved by participating in our parent and community night activities, volunteering at school activities, and taking an active role in your child's education. You are the best support you can give your child. You are your child's most important teacher. Spend time with your child. The middle school years go quickly, but they are among the most important  years of your child’s life. It is our desire as a school to keep the focus on increasing student achievement and doing whatever it takes to assist ALL of our students to be successful and enjoy coming to school each day. We believe that learning should be fun, exciting and engaging and that our school should pave the way for a lifetime of learning.
